About this place

I used to love cooking, but for various reasons, I found I’d almost entirely stopped cooking altogther. In fact, when I started this blog, I couldn’t even remember last time I used the stove for anything but boiling water for tea. But gradually I’ve started to remember how much I liked cooking, and now making dinner is actually something I look forward to.In fact, I’m turning into a cook-aholic. So while this blog once started as a way for me to keep track of my endeavors to become a vegetarian (now sadly abandoned), it’s now mostly about my food-geeking and new-found baking obsession.

On a personal note, I’m female, located in Sweden and alternate my spare time between writing and being a music geek. That’s when I’m not busy food-geeking… It’s a hard life, believe me.

If you want to contact me, you can reach me at peasloavesandunderstanding@gmail.com. Yes, that’s a very long address, I know, but on the other hand it goes pretty well with the name for this blog.

If you have opinions, tips or questions, just drop me an email. I’d really like some feedback on my recipes, so leaving a comment would be much appreciated too.

Oh, and yes, all my recipes are original ones. I can’t cook from recipes without starting to take that out and put that in and use a little more of that… So I’ve given up that and view them as inspiration, nothing more. If you want to use them, or the pictures, please contact me first and always give me credit.
